STG is pleased to provide this budgetary estimate for BBAHC for the installation of 10
each NW100 wind turbines. STG developed this budgetary estimate based their
experience with similar installations in other areas of the state and made assumptions
based on information provided by BBAHC. Actual construction costs will ultimately be
predicated on final construction designs, commodity prices, transportation costs, etc…
STG will coordinate and provide the necessary geotechnical, structural, and electrical
designs and provide a turn-key project for the 10 each Northwind 100 wind turbines as
outlined below. STG understands that the grid interconnect and any diesel integration
and secondary load control is being handled by others.
Included in the wind equipment pricing is the cold weather package and FAA lighting.
Limited extended warranty for up to 5 years is available for $3000.00 per turbine per
year.

1. Construction of civil drawings, pile testing and
structural foundation design, foundation electrical
and high voltage electrical design drawings. $107,600.00
2. Environmental and Regulatory Permitting $15,000.00
3. Construction and installation of the wind turbines.
All transportation of equipment, disposal, and clean
up of the project. Includes all as-builts, design
consultation, and warrantees. $3,808,000.00
4. Installation of Electrical Distribution and Fiber
Communication. Includes the installation of
approximately 2 miles of new 3 phase power and
the upgrade of approximately 14 miles of existing
power distribution infrastructure. $3,340,000.00
5. 10 each - NW100 turbines and towers with
necessary controls to connect with the grid. $3,215,000.00
6. Installation and commissioning support and
training for site personnel. $63,200.00
Total for Turnkey Project $10,548,800.00

The delivery of the wind towers and nacelles, FOB Seattle Dock, is approximately 6
months ARO. Mobilization may take about 20 days and we anticipate field installation to
take approximately 3 months with commissioning to last approximately 20 days.
Unfortunately, the electrical and communication distribution is such a large piece of this
project. Possibly this could be looked at as a separate project submitted under separate
cover? Regardless, it is a real cost and a necessary component. Please contact me with
