Dear Mr. White,
This letter is in regard to Jan Wrentmore's application for a Renewable Energy Fund
Grant to study the feasibility of connecting the existing Burro Creek Hydro project to the
power grid supplying Skagway and Haines.
AP&T's staff has inspected the existing facility and estimates that with updated and
improved infrastructure, the Creek could generate between 500 kW andZ MW of power.
In our opinion Burro Creek could be a significant hydro resource and merits further
study. We will be pleased to work with Ms. Wrentmore and her consultants in their
efforts to identiff the costs of delivering the power to the Skagway, Haines & cruise ship
markets and the options for power purchase and sale.
