Information gathered related to FERC question #2, clearing and burning of material in the proposed reservoirs. Person Contacted: Mr. Fred Larson, U.S. Forest Service, Pacific Northwest Experiment Station, 2.221 E. Northern Lights Blvd., Anchorage, AK. (272--5502) Contacted by: Charles Elliott in a meeting on March 8, 1985. Comments: Mr. Larson was contacted to determine if any timber volume data for the Susitna Hydroelectric Project area was availal le. Mr. Larson reported timber surveys had been performed in the Susitna Basin area in 1980 but that the number of pots that were located in the vicinity of the project area were limited.
