DESCRIPTION OF REQUEST:
Contractor recommends a "Spectacle" blind to be installed in the
flange set in the fill line to Tank #11. This piping will be iron
bound after attachment to the tanks and will be a problem installing a
blind and x-tra gasket in the future. A "Spectacle" blind is also
recommended for the flange set in the fill line to Tank # 12. The
blind and x-tra gasket could probably be inserted due to proximity of
the expansion loop, but may result in undue stresses..
