DESCRIPTION OF REQUEST;
Local labor force reports that the existing dike liner at the VVEC
Power Plant was laid down OVER soils contaminated with used oil.
Please provide direction on how to proceed. Can the new liner be
placed on top of the existing liner to avoid exposure of the reported
condition' Can the amount of ballast (see detail. 4 sheet C-9) be
adjusted to coordinate with this elevation work point? RAPID RESPONSE
REQUESTED - WORK IS IN PROGRESS.
