Unalakleet Native Corporation would like the new 5,000 gallon tank that was installed next the the UNC
Store to be used for gasoline. The tank was originally designed as a diesel fuel tank, since we already
have a 2,000 gallon gas tank located next to the new 5,000 gallon tank. Because of the strong
economy in Unalakleet partly due to the increase in commercial fishing in Unalakleet and surrounding
villages, we have had increased gasoline sales and the increased need for gasoline storage in our day
tank that we sell through our gas pumps. We would like to turn our existing 2,000 gallon gasoline tank
into a diesel fuel tank and use the new 5,000 gallon tank for gasoline storage. Both products will be
dispensed through our fuel dispenser. We would request that this change be made in the plans and
that Hankal test the tanks in the configuration that we desire. Thank you for your consideration and
understanding of this change.
