After that weld was completed there was an air test on that spool before it could the welded to the oilier existing line. That test was successful at 140psi for 1 hour_ After huh Don started welding on the fuel oil riser_ By the end ofthe day he had completed 4 welds for that spool. Neff today welded 2 each 4"welds.He had one weld on the gas line and one weld on the fuel oil line to make. The welds were for the road crossing part ofthe spool. Neil was welding the tie-in weld from the marine header to the fuel oil line. Both Don and Neil and there fitups anpeeted and root pass visually inspected. After acceptance they both completed there welds . All 4 welds fit -up great and gaps were inspected prior to welding. The rootpass and hotpass were also inspected with no problem noted. Fill and cap looked good at inspection. After lunch neal welded out 4 more welds 2 each on fuel oil and gas line out ofthe ditch. These welds will be tied into the line that is in the ditch now. Neal has 4 welds to make. He has to add a pup on each the gas line and the fuel oil line then they will put the pipe into the ditch and through the bridge holes that have been cut to run the line under the bridge. After the lines were into position Neal made the final tie-in welds for the gas line and the fuel oil line. All 4 welds were visully inspected during the welding process and were considered acceptable. Bill welded the test caps onto the ends of the gas line and the fuel oil line to test the lines on monday morning.
