Wrangell Hydro Based Electric Boilers Construction
Dear Mr. Rooney, Borough Manager:
The above referenced project has been completed. Our records indicate that final funds have been
disbursed. A Summary of your expenditures for this project is enclosed.
• Total Project Expenditures: $1,938,745.00
• Federal portion: 0
• Federal CFDA#: N/A
• State portion: $1,862,387.13
• Community Contribution: $76,357.87
The Grantee shall keep a file for financial, progress and other records relating to the performance of
the grant agreement. The file must be retained for a period of four years from the fully executed close
out of the grant agreement or until final resolution of any audit findings claim or litigation related to the
grant. The Authority may inspect, in the manner and at reasonable times it considers appropriate,
records and activities under this Grant Agreement.
If the grant is for Project construction, t he Grantee must provide the Authority with a
Performance/O&M Report annually for five years after Project completion. The Performance/ O&M
Report must include: (1) a detailed description of Project operations and maintenance activities and
issues; and (2) a detailed description of Project performance, including energy output, estimated fuel
savings resulting from the operation of the Project, and any other relevant measures of Project
performance reasonably requested by the Authority, a description of repa irs and modifications to the
Project, and recommendations for improvements for similar future projects.
Your grant is now officially closed. The Alaska Energy Authority has enjoyed working with you
towards the accomplishment of this project.
