BRADLEY LAKE PROJECT MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE (BPMC)
SPECIAL MEETING Thursday, December 7, 2023, 11:00 AM
1. CALL TO ORDER
Chair Bard Janorschke call the meeting of the Bradley Lake Hydroelectric Project Management
Committee to order at 11:03 am.
2. ROLL CALL (for Committee members)
Curtis Thayer (Alaska Energy Authority (AEA)); Arthur Miller (Chugach Electric Association (CEA)); John
Burns (Golden Valley Electric Association (GVEA)); Tony Izzo (Matanuska Electric Association (MEA)); City of Seward – Absent; and Brad Janorschke (Homer Electric Association (HEA)).
3. PUBLIC ROLL CALL (for all others present)
Joel Paisner, Counsel for the BPMC; Jennifer Bertolini; Matt Clarkson; David Pease; Kathy Feldman, Counsel.
4. AGENDA APPROVAL
MOTION: John Burns moved to approve the Agenda as presented. Arthur Miller seconded the
motion.
The motion to approve the agenda passed without objection.
5. PUBLIC COMMENTS - None.
6. EXECUTIVE SESSION - 11:00 a.m.
(Bylaws Section 5.11.4) - To discuss confidential personnel matters.
MOTION: Mr. Thayer moved that the Bradley Lake Project Management Committee enter into executive session to discuss confidential personnel matters. This is supported by the
Open Meetings Act (AS 44.62.310), which allow a committee to consider confidential matters in executive session. In this case, the committee believes that there are subjects
that are protected by law due to rules protecting personal privacy and certain business information. Mr. Burns seconded the motion.
A roll call vote was taken and the motion to go into executive session passed.
The committee reconvened its regular meeting at 11: 53 p.m.

Chair Janorschke stayed that no official action was taken while in executive session.

Seeing no other items of business before the committee, Chair Janorschke adjourned the meeting at
11:55 a.m.
