KARSTEN - pick up rental van from Budget; have everyone load their own luggage in the van and check to see if the
Aspen Suites Hotel will let everyone check in early, or at least leave their bags at the front desk. Drive group back to catch
12:30pm Wings/ Alaska Seaplanes Flight #1 to Skagway.
11:30am Sherrie Siverson & Teri Webster depart Juneau AS #62; arrive Ketchikan 12:34pm. Pick up Alaska Car Rental
12-passenger van. Transport to Cape Fox Lodge.
12:25pm Chris Anderson depart Anchorage AS #64; arrive Juneau 2:11pm
12:30pm FLIGHT - depart Juneau on Wings/Seaport Flight #1 - STAFF: Hemsath, Lamb, Leonard, Rodvik, Springsteen.
BOARD: Dick, Nygard, Pruhs. Arrive Skagway 1:15pm
1:20pm KARSTEN: pick up 8-passenger van at Sourdough Rentals, 350-6th Street. 907-983-2523
1:30-4:30pm Meet with representatives of the Municipality of Skagway Assembly and representatives from The Yukon
TOUR of the Skagway Ore Terminal.

CHARTER FLIGHT - return to airport to board 5:30pm Wings/Alaska Seaplane charter flight return to Juneau (arrive
approx 6:30pm) KARSTEN will transport everyone from the airport to the hotel to check into the Aspen Suites.
8:00pm Flight: Mike Catsi departs Ketchikan, arrive Anchorage 9:47pm

July 31 5:45am KARSTEN: transport everyone and their luggage back to the airport to catch the 7:00am flight to Ketchikan

a ferry ride
FLIGHT depart Juneau AS #60 - STAFF: Anderson, Fisher-Goad, Hemsath, Lamb, Leonard, Plentovich; Rodvik,
Springsteen. BOARD: Bell, Dick, Nygard, Pruhs. Arrive Ketchikan 8:05am. Sherrie and Teri will meet the group and
transport in 12-passenger vans to the Cape Fox Lodge.
8:45-9:00am
Arrive at Cape Fox Lodge (it is too early to check in, but they have a storage room where they put your luggage).
Continental breakfast plus (assorted breakfast pastries; fresh fruit and melons; assorted juices; bagels and cream cheese; reg
and decaf coffee; assorted teas; hot water) in the conference room where the meeting will be held.
9:30-11:45am AEA Board Meeting, Cape Fox Lodge (will include an Executive Session in separate room for 6-8)
12:00-1:00pm Ketchikan Chamber Luncheon, Cape Fox Lodge - Susan Bell and Ted Leonard guest speakers
1:30-4:00pm AIDEA Board Meeting, Cape Fox Lodge
4:30-6:15pm TOUR of the Ketchikan Shipyard - Doug Ward, Vigor. BOARD QUORUM - Bell, Dick, Nygard, Pruhs
6:30-8:00pm RECEPTION - Ketchikan Chamber/Rotary/Visitor's Bureau and the Marine Industry at the Fish Pirate Saloon, 76 Front

Aug 1 6:15am Sherrie will transport group via van from Cape Fox Lodge to the Promech Air dock, on the Ketchikan side across from the
airport.
7:00am depart
Promech Air
depart Promech Air at 7:00am; fly over Niblack site to view from the air; 7:45am land at the dock at the Bokan site; 5-
minute helicopter ride to mine site; they will have to make several trips to accommodate everyone who plans to take the
tour. Promech Air will return to pick up the group at 11:45am; arrive Ketchikan 12:15pm

DRIVE - tour of the AEA Whitman Lake Hydroelectric site located 8 miles southeast of Ketchikan.
4 board QUORUM Bell, Dick, Nygard, Pruhs, Sara Fisher-Goad, Teri Webster, and anyone else that would like to
go on this tour.
1:30-3:30pm DRIVE to Ketchikan Airport; Niblack will arrange transportation in high clearance four-wheel drive vehicles to the
grinding plant site. Jim Hemsath and ???
3:45pm FERRY from Ketchikan side to Gravina Island/Airport - check in by 4:00pm for 5:22pm return flights. Sherrie & Teri
return rental vans.
