The Design Engineer has been
selected and a kick-off meeting was
held in Delta on 12/16/09 to look at the
site and the school building. The
project is about $900k underfunded
due to the project being capped at
$2mil because Delta is connected to
the GVEA grid. DGSD is in the
process of identifying potential funding
sources for the shortfall, but will
proceed with the site plan
development. The wood boiler
manufacturer needs to be selected
early in the design process in order to
do the building layout for the fuel
storage, delivery system and boiler
layout. DGSD will not proceed with
that procurement until the funding has
been obtained, so the project may be
delayed and miss the 2010
construction season.RE Round 1 0
